1st Class Down and Prep for Next Class on October 11th

Thank you to Stacey for teaching our first class. If you weren't able to make it and would like to read the lesson, you can find it here . We will be holding class next week even though it is Fall Break. Melinda has generously offered the babysitting services of her older kids to help with the extra kids and we are thinking of maybe allowing them to play in the gym or in another room next week. However, if you would feel more comfortable keeping your children in the room with us, you are more than welcome to do that as well. Next week's lesson will be Lesson 2 "The First Vision" and will be taught by Melinda. Here are links to the suggested readings from the manual for this lesson: Joseph Smith History 1:1-26 Gordon B. Hinckley, "The Marvelous Foundation of Our Faith," Ensign , Nov. 2002, 78-81. If Melinda wants to add any additional readings, she will create a new post or add them in the comments of this post. Thanks to Lisa for being willing ...
